Hear Ye, Hear Ye - All Ye Beer-Swilling Rascals, Scoundrels, Thieves, Wenches, Tights and Skirts-wearing Hounds and Harriets!

We are hereby gathering on Sunday, the 16th of March in the Year 2014, commencing at 1 O'Clock PM, for *The Legend of Robin Would of Sure-Wood Forest"

There shall be running through sylvan forests and verdant fields with wild game and bovine beasts!
There shall be many tests of your skills and cunning, of your ability to find true trail and to avoid random arrows!
There shall be much drinking and singing and reveling, a few pointless accusations, and then more drinking!

- Co-hares are BOTS (Bitch on the Side) and E=MC*Fucked
- Weather Forecast is Sunny with a high of 76. No rain in sight!
- Gorgeous Views!
- Turkey and Eagle and Walker Trails
- DOG FRIENDLY trail, dogs off-leash OK with voice command
- Beer Check Definitely
- BIKES: Trail head is a 3.5-mile bike ride from Lafayette BART station.
- $5 gets you beer, water and snacks. Hash Virgins Free.
- Bright costumes, Kilts and/or Robin-Hood themed costumes *suggested* but not required.
- Parking is VERY limited, so CARPOOLING is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED (see below), but this trail and location are WORTH IT.
- Be early to get a parking spot at the trail head, and carpool with others if at all possible to lessen potential parking problems for others.

CARPOOLING is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Weather should be glorious so we expect a good turnout. There are probably hashers who live near you who are also planning to attend. So please make an effort to carpool if you can.

- Parking is very limited. There are only @ 10 parking spots at the trail-head. Latecomers may end up parking half a mile away OR MORE, so it's important to BE EARLY OR ON TIME.

- CARPOOLING SUGGESTIONS: Please post to your local hash email list if you want to get or give a ride and make sure to mention your city/neighborhood and contact info. Some Carpools may want to meet up at BART station parking lots at Rockridge BART (Oakland) or Lafayette BART. These area convenient meeting spots for people who take public transportation and those who want to park somewhere convenient before catching a ride or offering a ride. - If we run out of decent parking options before 1:10 PM, we may form caravans/shuttles to park cars at the Lafayette Ridge Staging Area on Pleasant Hill Road (about a 1.6 miles away from the Springhill Road trailhead) and shuttle hashers back and forth to the trail head, 5 minutes each direction. https://goo.gl/maps/j315U

- If you Wankers arrive later after all of the good parking spots have been taken, and after all the caravans/shuttles have left, you may very well end up parking at Lafayette Ridge Staging Area and having to run up to 1.6 miles exta to get to the start. If this is YOU, please run the TURKEY trail. So PLEASE carpool and be early or on time.
