Off I580 in Point Richmond, head South on Canal Blvd. toward the Bay and toward Historic Richmond Shipyard #3. After 0.8 miles from the intersection of Canal Blvd. and W. Cutting Blvd., pass under the arch "Port of Richmond Point Potrero" and continue on Canal Blvd. 0.9 more miles. At the stop sign, turn right into the parking lot at the waters edge. If you stay on Canal Blvd. past the ocean-going vessels you have gone to far.

The usual features: scenic (very, very), hills, shiggy, much virgin trail, dogs OK, stroller options. On-On-On will be at Up & Under Rugby Pub, 2 West Richmond Avenue, Point Richmond (downtown near the tunnels and the natatorium).
