Start at Diablo Valley College, in Pleasant Hill, on Stubbs Rd. between parking lots 4 and 5.

Park in Lot #4, just north on Stubbs Rd. from the intersection of Viking Dr. and Stubbs Rd. Follow the marked trail north on Stubbs Road 0.1 mile to the run start location at the crest of the hill. Trailhead and beermeister drop off are on the left (west) side of Stubbs Rd.

Turkey/eagle split with ~5 miles for the turkey trail.

Walkers and stroller-pushers should consult with the hare for directions.
