From Hwy 1 "head"ing south from Half Moon Bay or north from Pacifica, take Capistrano Road west through the Princeton Harbor area and continue, via 3 quick turns on local roads, to West Point Avenue. Then go further west on West Point to a parking lot near the base of the hill with "The Golf Ball" up top (you'll know it when you see it).

This starting point parking lot (cleverly labeled "Parking Lot" by Google) fills up fast on weekends, but there is overflow parking nearby (the overflow lot is labeled "West Point Parking Lot" on Google maps and its address is 22 West Point Ave - you will likely pass by this lot, on the right with a small brown sign, en route to the lot at the start).

We'll have a bag wagon at the start so that if you do have to park at the overflow lot, you can still drop off warm clothes and have them nearby for what will almost surely be a rather chilly circle on the beach.

Hash on the coast! Circle on a (nearly) unoccupied beach!

Trail is A to A' and will be about 5 miles - but with great views, 3 BX's, and just a couple of gentle hills, it is suitable for eagles, turkeys and walkers and is also stroller friendly. Sorry, dogs are not allowed on parts of the trail nor on the beach.

The on on on will be tacos and brews at Chez PH and DtAC, 431 California Ave (park on the RHS of the street, by the church, just after turning onto Calif Ave from Hwy 1 - then walk to #431, about 100 yards ahead on the right).
