Dear EBH3: It is I, Oral! Rumors of my demise have been greatly
exaggerated and are testament to human optimism. But you must have been
thinking dirty, DIRTY thoughts because I've been summoned to make my
triumphal, stupid return to the hash. But caveat hashor! For you,
hashers, on the day of this trail there shall be no mercy; no salvation;
and no hygiene. Depending on who you ask my words are either prophetic or
pathetic, and perhaps even prosthetic (I have porphyria; does that count?).
There will be a glorious restoration of the EBH3 core values of steepness,
heat, ridiculous distance, and in all ways a general affront to basic
decency, etc. etc.

Directions:

Take CA-24 E to Acalanes Rd exit toward Mt. Diablo Blvd.

Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Upper Happy Valley Rd and merge
onto Acalanes Rd

in half a mile, Turn right at El Nido Ranch Rd, left at Upper Happy Valley
Rd, after a mile left at Happy Valley Rd stay on Happy Valley road until
you get to Bear Creek Rd, then turn right.

- There's a fee to enter Briones, unless you park across Bear Creek from
the entrance. There are sometimes break-ins there so I always go in. Get
the EBPARKS frequent-flier pass.

- NOT STROLLER FRIENDLY.

--Dogs are allowed on trail (fee, and owner must carry leash).

- No on-on-on.
