Go through the tunnel and take the Orinda/Moraga exit. Turn left (north) on Camino Pablo Road and go 2+ miles till you hit Bear Creek Road (it has a stoplight). Take a right on Bear Creek Road and go for 4+ miles till you see signs for the Bear Creek Staging Area on your right. (It's about a half mile past the intersection with Happy Valley Road.) If you're on the East side of the hills, make your way to 24 West. Take the Orinda/Moraga exit and turn right (north) on Camino Pablo Road and go 2+ miles till you hit Bear Creek Road (it has a stoplight). Take a right on Bear Creek Road and go for 4+ miles till you see signs for the Bear Creek Staging Area on your right. (It's about a half mile past the intersection with Happy Valley Road.) Look for hashers; we'll be at one of the many picnic areas. If you're a cheapass (like Princess or Oral) you can park alongside Bear Creek Road near the entrance to the park and walk in. Otherwise there's a $3 charge per car and $2 charge per dog. Cost is $5 to hash (yes this applies to everyone, even if you are called Princess). If we get our act together (and the weather cooperates) we'll also cook up something for an additional modest fee. There'll be a walkers trail and a beer check No PO but (maybe) a few star thistles.
