Start: 3422 Mount Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette, CA - There is a 3' wide
trail entrance between Bo's BBQ and the Postal Annex. Walk through that
gate and follow the trail 150'

Directions: From the West: Take 24 to the second Lafayette exit, I
believe labelled central Lafayette, and likely has some reference to Moraga
road. At the stop sign at the bottom of the exit turn left up the hill (on
Oakhill), then right on Deer Hill Road (paralleling 24 on the north side).
Drive straight and turn right at your 3rd right had turn, Brown ave. You
can either park here at the parking meters that someone has Cool Hand Luked
and follow the weird gravel trail that starts at the corner and goes under
the overpass, or you can drive down to Mount Diablo, turn right and park
immediately. Look for the trail between the Bo's BBQ and the Postal Annex.

From BART: Get off in Lafayette. Walk North out of the station towards
the war crosses (If you don't know what they are, you will when you see
them). Turn right on Deer Hill Road. Walk straight and turn right at your
4th right had turn, Brown ave. Follow the weird gravel trail that starts
at the corner and goes under the overpass. We'll be the group of the
people in running clothes drinking under an overpass. If you are wondering
it is a 3/4 mile walk, or you can be lazy and call a fellow hasher.

The Trail: The trail this week is themed after a book I'm reading on honey
bees. No true direction, lots or weird turns, plenty of places you
wouldn't expect to go. It is a true fox and hound live trail, and due to
how I'm laying it, at no point will I be more than likely a 1/4 mile away
from the pack. Which means I'll be very close to Zydeco, and will likely
get caught. If you can interpret bee (see here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_von_Frisch) I can work on getting
together a bee dance ahead of time to describe the trail.

Q - Is it stroller friendly? A - Mostly. If you want it to be it, it can
be just by watching the crowd for 30 seconds. There will be areas you
can't go with a stroller, but the pack will pop back out to a reasonable
viewable area soon. The biggest obstacle will be a few park chains across
the trail that you'll have to hoist any strollers over.

Q -Is it dog friendly? A - As far as I can tell, but it depends on how
friendly your dog likes to get.

Q-Is it rain proof A-Due to the season the trail has been picked
purposefully to be as mudfree as possible. There is only one area that can
get muddy and it can be avoided by running on the grass.
