ALERT CHANGE IN START LOCATION The Prodigals Return! Bananas & DFlowered are back to hare our almost-annual uber-hilly spring-time jaunt at the south end of Garin/Dry Creek Park. Woohoo! It'll be everything you expect from a B&DF hash... shiggy, vertical and maybe even some mud! We run, rain or shine! It's gorgeous green in Garin park this time of year, before the thistles pop up and the poison oak leafs out. Start: 1320 Garin Ave, Hayward CA 94544.
View Larger Map OnOnOn: There are great picnic tables at Garin Park, if we have any BBQ volunteers... if not, or if it's pouring, we'll hit Chaiyo Thai, 1640 Decoto Road in Union City, CA 94587. This is a little place on the east side of the strip mall (see map link below). Notes: NOTE the last-minute start location change!! We are NOT starting at Seven Hills Park. Hares will mark the new start location address in chalk at Seven Hills. There will likely be a turkey/eagle split, beer & water check, great views, and poison oak (if you're allergic, wear pants/tights or Technu up). This will be a dog-friendly hash, but it is *not* a stroller-friendly hash. The kiosk at the park generally isn't open yet (meaning, there's no one to take your entrance fee), but in case Murphy's law prevails, please bring an extra $5 for park entrance and additional $2 if you have a dog. (Alternatively, if you're feeling cheap, you can park on the residential streets off of Garin Ave before the gate and hoof it up the hill for free.
