Location:

Trailhead on Skyline Boulevard in Oakland, about 1/4 mile NORTH of the parking lot at the intersection of Grass Valley Road.

NOTE: We are NOT meeting at Clyde Wooldridge Staging Area/Anthony Chabot Regional Park, Instead we are meeting at a trailhead 1/4 mile north of there. Park along the local access road that is parallel to Skyline Boulevard, overlooking the Bay, where the access road ends.

Directions: Exit Highway 580 at Golf Links Road/Oakland Zoo. Follow Golf Links Road east (away from the bay) and up into the hills. Turn left at Grass Valley Road and go until it ends at Skyline Boulevard. At Skyline Boulevard, make a sharp left onto the local access road that runs pararellel to the main Skyline Boulevard. Go about 1/4 mile and park along the side of the local access road, before it ends. The trailhead is at the end of the road.

Description:
Join EBH3 for the "Highlander Hash" in the Oakland Hills above the Oakland Zoo, overlooking the Bay. Kilts and bagpipes, Scottish and plaid attire are all optional.

- Trail is Dog-Friendly on leash.
- Turkey Trail (about 4 miles) and Eagle Trail (about 6 miles) with a shared beer check.
- Walker and Stroller options are available, but True Trail is not stroller friendly.
- Features beautiful views, lots of hills, shiggy, single track and fire-roads, and a lot of virgin trail for the Eagles.
- Try to remember some Scottish hash songs if you know any!
