Going north on I-80E, take Exit 27, the last exit before the Carquinez Bridge.

Go east on Pomona St through Crockett

Turn left onto Carquinez Scenic Drive.

Slight left onto Canyon Lake Drive.

Stay on Canyon Lake Drive through Port Costa to the gravel parking lot at the very end. Park at the north end (far left hand side as you drive in). Get out of the car and admire the estuarine views. If the parking lot is full of methadone-fueled bikers, feel free to turn back and park along Canyon Lake Drive.

Enjoy historical Port Costa and it's hilly environs. On-on is at the Warehouse Cafe, at the south end of the parking lot run start. The Warehouse Cafe and it's stuffed polar bear enjoy accolades, including:
